(Sly Stone) en estos 12 temas grabados sobre los masters originales
hicieron lo suyo artistas como Steve Tyler cantante de Aerosmith
haciendo junto a Robert Randolph una arrolladora version de I want to
take you higher unos de los temas clasicos de ese gran disco que fue
Stand (1969),Will i Am integrante de Black Eyed Peas haciendo una
interesante version de Dance to the Music (196 , Joss Stone junto a
john Legend y Van Hunt interpretando Family Affair el unico tema de la
Family Stone que llego al numero 1 de billboard en 1971 y Buddy Guy
junto a John Mayer haciendo una excelente version de Sing a Simple Song
otro clasico salido de Stand (1969)

Different Strokes by Different Folks ese estribillo que pertenece a
Everyday People (Stand 1969) y que alegaba a la union de las razas en
esa epoca tan conflictiva y que fue utilizada para la famosa serie que
conocimos en Argentina como Blanco y Negro con Gary Coleman a fines de
la decada de los 70's y que mostraba una de las facetas de esta banda
multiracial que fue Sly & The Family Stone...espero que les guste
