Debi Diamond stars in this vehicle, playing the unlikely role of an innocent young virgin who has never tasted the fruits of carnal pleasure. The story follows Debi as she tries to find the right man to offer up her virginity to. Of course, along the way we get lots and lots of lascivious lust from the rest of the cast. Paula Price shows her wild side when she takes on a hard-charging stud early on. Paula’s curvaceous good looks drive the scene forward, while her amorous appetite for more and more keeps things at a fever pitch. Tracey Adams plays Debi’s ***om mother, and she gets in on the fun when she takes on Peter North in another heated humdinger. Tracey’s top-heavy tenaciousness comes through loud and clear here as she takes North on a feverish ride to the far reaches of lust. In the end, Debi finds the right guy in the form of Tom Byron. They pair off in a blistering session that gives the lie to Debi’s claims of virginity. No newcomer could ever be this creative and driven, as Debi turns in one of her typically over-the-top performances. A nice dose of feature-style fun from some of the hardest charging harlots in the 90s hardcore.

The late Alex De Renzy, who passed away in early 2001, perfected the art of the "loop carrier" (see my notes under Howard Ziehm's HONEYPIE if you desire an explanation of this term) in the '80s with features like GIRLFRIENDS, BALLBUSTERS, DIRTY GIRLS and of course WILD THINGS. Latter title caused something of a scandal when it turned out that one of its participants (the notorious Traci Lords dressed in full Catholic schoolgirl regalia in a remake of the director's own legendary loop PAROCHIAL PASSION PRINCESS) was under age at the time of shooting. Fortunately, the format being what it is, said segment could quite easily be replaced (by a scorching Elle Rio threesome) without too much detriment to the finished product. No such controversy surrounded De Renzy's follow-up, but this does in no way indicate that this sequel would be anything less than an equal. Far from it, in fact !

Popular mid-1980s starlet (with the big hair to prove it) Kari Fox, who stepped in for genre goddess Annette Haven playing the part of Sheherazade in Edwin Durell's A THOUSAND AND ONE EROTIC NIGHTS PART 2, loosely narrates the proceedings conveniently centered around a bunch of naughty girls - many of them blondes, hair color fetishists take note ! - trying to get some hot hunk, and in one memorable case each other, into bed. Superstar Joanna Storm (already something of a veteran by this time, starting out in Chuck Vincent's 1983 IN LOVE) kicks off with a splendid seduction of muscular water delivery boy Jonathan Lee. This sequence pretty much sets the tone for all that is to follow with just enough build-up and tease to get viewers all hot and bothered by the time they get to the explicit pay-off, shot with style and exceptional body display. Cute as a button high school reporter Nikki Charm (who was to become an on-again, off-again Vivid girl over the next several years) interviews seasoned porno stud Joey Silvera, of course sampling the old guy's expertise first hand - so to speak - in one of the most melting displays of May/December lovemaking ever. Another all time superstar, the incomparable Amber Lynn, is up next in a steamy Bonnie & Clyde number with humongously endowed Dick Rambone, proving yet again that no Beast (not even Rambone's hefty trouser snake) could ever defeat this ravishing Beauty ! A scene involving horny high schoolers Tiffany DuPonte (also in Gary Graver's SHOWGIRLS) and Chris Chase (the male stripper from Jerome Tanner's LUST POTION OF DR. F) is frequently slighted, presumably because lacking in star power, but no sexual encounter with chemistry this good deserves to be overlooked however. The single set-up that most everyone remembers about this movie is sweet Shanna McCullough's bizarre birthday bash with blonde amazon Chanel Price and diminutive Regine Bardot (billed as "Toy Sin") making for a most unique Sapphic sandwich. More recent viewers only familiar with Shanna from her mature performances in fine features such as Paul Thomas' BOBBYSOX or Gary Graver's TIGHT SPOT will be amazed at how deliciously youthful she looks here. Hostess Kari brings up the rear (well, kind of) in an elaborate nurse/patient fantasy with stalwart John Leslie and a brief but satisfying solo before lights out.

As was his custom, De Renzy did not beat around the bush (!!!) by dragging out irrelevant plot lines or resorting to glossy production values if those didn't serve his purpose, i.e. to create palpable erotic tension right from the opening frames with regular hot flashes of pure hardcore lava. Purists may prefer his more narratively complex works of the '70s (BABYFACE, PRETTY PEACHES, FEMMES DE SADE) to these unpretentious wall to wall sex feasts he cranked out over the next decade and, in truth, most of the latter did indeed provide something of a mixed bag. WILD THINGS 2 may one day be judged as the most consistent of that lot.
