Inventive Canadian five-piece, Fish & Bird are to give their latest album, Something In The Ether, a UK launch on July 1st. The band's last release, the WCMA-nominated Every Whisper Is A Shout Across The Void, won great reviews and established them as a major force on the roots music circuit.

Raised on equal parts roots music and Radiohead, they have built a strong following on both sides of the Atlantic for their refreshingly unclichéd writing. With this, their fourth album, they continue to "re-imagine folk music for a new generation."

The band members have been friends more or less since childhood, growing up in the small community of idyllic Mayne Island, a remote island (900 inhabitants) off the west coast of British Columbia.
