With a clear line of reference to great southern soul influenced-bands like the Rolling Stones and the Band, Buffalo Clover have put together a rollicking new album of deep grooves and crisp pop melodies. Meanwhile front woman Margo Price sings in a sweet and soulful voice that beguiles while the rest of the band stomps through horn-drenched, energetic songs.
  
Price tells us more about the group's new release: "'Test Your Love' is a good representation of what we sound like live. Everything you hear on it, is just the core band getting through a first, second or third take. Of course, there is some special guests who dropped in to add a vocal or a slide guitar part here and there, but this album is predominantly our band and not session players. Andrija Tokic (The Bomb Shelter) also threw in plenty if his expertise and opinion to really make things shine. It pairs old good American feeling with plenty of hard luck."
