Sinopsis:
Desde pequeña, Amy (Amy Schumer) ha oído al sinvergüenza de su papá (Colin Quinn) decir que la monogamia no es un estado realista. La periodista, que escribe para una revista, vive de acuerdo con las creencias de papá, disfrutando lo que le parece ser una vida sin ataduras, libre de aburridas promesas románticas. Sin embargo, ha llegado a un punto muerto. Cuando descubre que se está enamorando del hombre al que dedica un artículo, un encantador y exitoso médico deportivo llamado Aaron Conners (Bill hader), Amy se plantea si los adultos de verdad, entre los que está Aaron, quizá no estén tan equivocados.
