Sinopsis:
Alicia Kingsleigh (Wasikowska) pasó los últimos años siguiendo los pasos de su padre y navegando por alta mar. Cuando vuelve a Londres, se topa con un espejo mágico y regresa al reino fantástico de Infratierra donde están sus amigos el Conejo Blanco (Sheen), Ábsolem (Rickman), el Gato Sonriente (Fry) y el Sombrerero Loco (Depp), que se está comportando de manera extraña. El Sombrerero perdió su "muchosidad", de manera que Mirana (Hathaway) envía a Alicia en una misión para pedir prestada la "cronoesfera", una esfera metálica que se encuentra dentro del Gran Reloj que impulsa todo el tiempo. Cuando vuelve al pasado, se encuentra con amigos y enemigos en diferentes momentos de sus vidas y comienza una peligrosa carrera para salvar al Sombrerero Loco antes de que se termine el tiempo.
